The experiences of Marte from Norway

My name is Marte. I’m 19 years old and I’m from Norway. I have been teaching a level 3 class for three weeks now. My impression has been really good. We usually bike a 10 minutes ride to school. It’s clear that the children are really eager to learn. They greet you every time they see you, even if they don’t go to the local school. Since I got here, I have noticed that it’s a good idea to use different types off teaching techniques to help every child understand what we are going through.

We also prepare for class a day ahead, and we usually do this together to help each other. It’s also interesting to see and understand the different backgrounds they come from. I have really enjoyed my time here so far, and I’m really going to miss the children.
