Holi, the festival of colors, is one of the most rejoiced and vibrant festivals of India. Udaipur is famed for most amazing and royal Holi celebrations, not only in Rajasthan, but also all over the country. In Udaipur, we celebrate Holi for two days. The Holi celebration in Udaipur starts with Holika Dahan, this takes place one day before Holi. Mewar Holika Dahan, or the bonfire takes place on the grounds of City Palace.
At The Green Lion Udaipur, India, we celebrated Holi festival along with 2 participants on the 21st March, 2019 near Jagadesh temple in the old royal city of Udaipur. It was a day of sharing love through colours. And it was followed by a special lunch for everyone at our center. Holi takes place once a year, but it showers love and joy over everyone, which you can see on their smiling faces.
